Arriving at the building for the first time, I saw a house with an attic and large windows, a balcony and an open veranda, such an alpine house. The roof is with steep slopes and overhanging edges harmoniously fit into the landscape, giving the impression that you are in an alpine village, and not in the countryside of Dnipro. An ideal place to relax from the busy city, enjoy communication with nature.
When designing a house, many preferences of customers were carefully thought , so the layout was practically unchanged when a design project for the interior of a house was ready. The specific of the planning solution are two entrances, which in the future will be used equally, special attention was paid to the organization of entrance groups. Functionally, the house contained premises on the ground floor: a spacious living room with a fireplace, a kitchen with access to the terrace, a children’s room, a bathroom, a guest bedroom with its own bathroom and a furnace; the second floor is the master: a bedroom with a dressing room, a hall with an office function, a spacious bathroom, a workshop and a pantry.
The main task is to create an interior with a special pacified atmosphere, which would be a continuation of the existing picture of the exterior of the house. The customers like natural colors and textures, the predominance of wood and stone in the interior. The style of the chalet in the interior shows mood of the house and the preferences of customers, so the idea of a modern chalet was proposed. Natural materials were chosen: light shades of wood, polished stone, tinted Ekaterinoslavsky brick, textiles of soft texture in soothing colors.
The result is a cozy, bright and very airy interior that matches the owner’s lifestyle and their preferences.
